It’s easy to lose track of people over time. While many familiar faces return for the new season of the funny and classic sitcom, some characters, like Cynthia and Jessica, aren’t seen or even mentioned. Interestingly, two characters were always going to be absent from the Malcolm in the Middle reunion, but the show still managed to find a way to include them.
Everyone’s life has taken different paths. Nate and Cassie are together and trying to make it work in the suburbs, but their relationship is struggling. Jules is focused on her art, and Lexi is working as an assistant in Hollywood for a busy TV producer, played by Sharon Stone.
Without Wayne escaping the low-budget film world, none of his success would have been possible, and he owed it all to John Ford. Ford discovered Wayne when he was relatively unknown and transformed him into a dependable Hollywood star. They went on to create classic westerns like The Searchers, She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. But before they became a famous duo, they were simply an actor stuck in B-movies and a celebrated director who recognized his potential.
Netflix is known for having a huge library of content, though the quality isn’t always consistent. However, they’ve created some truly excellent original series, and one of their early hits, the four-season crime drama Ozark, remains one of the best in the genre.
Sources say a remake of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, potentially called Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, is about to be announced. While many in the gaming community already suspect it’s coming, Assassin’s Creed fans are still excited about the possibility of revisiting the beloved pirate adventure and its classic gameplay.

The popular series The Boys, based on the comic books of the same name, started in 2019 and features a world full of superheroes and villains. As the show has progressed, it’s increasingly reflected current events and political issues. The fifth and final season premiered this week on April 8th.
The new Super Mario Galaxy Movie brings back Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Jack Black as voices, and adds new cast members Benny Safdie, Donald Glover, and Glen Powell. Notably, Powell plays Fox, a character from the 1993 game Star Fox, which, like Super Mario Bros., was created by Shigeru Miyamoto.
I have to admit, revisiting some of The Simpsons‘ older episodes dealing with sensitive topics has been surprisingly rewarding. Even though they aired back in the ’90s, episodes like “Much Apu About Nothing” really hold up as thoughtful explorations of immigration. And “Homer’s Phobia”? It’s aged much better than most sitcoms from that era tackling homosexuality. It reminded me of Seinfeld‘s “The Outing” and Frasier‘s “The Matchmaker” – they all used humor to poke fun at stereotypes, rather than relying on the kind of awkward “gay panic” you often saw with characters like Joey and Chandler.
Popular characters who were once missing from the story, such as Future Trunks, Android 17, Cabba, and even Yajirobe, have made exciting comebacks. Goku’s father, Bardock, even got a significant backstory in the recent Granolah the Survivor Saga of Dragon Ball Super. While Dragon Ball isn’t afraid to revisit old favorites, there are still some allies who seem permanently lost to the past.
