Henry Cavill isn’t the only big name joining the new “Highlander” movie! Russell Crowe will play Ramirez in the reboot and recently shared a photo on X (formerly Twitter) showing off his training. The post, with the classic line “There can be only one…”, quickly went viral, racking up over a million views. The photo reveals Crowe has gotten noticeably fit for the action-packed remake.

Though it first aired nearly ten years ago, Counterpart is still considered by many to be one of the best science fiction shows of recent times. Starring J.K. Simmons, the series received high praise for its depiction of alternate realities and strong acting. Sadly, despite two fantastic seasons, it was canceled prematurely.

The Spider-Noir series draws inspiration from both the Spider-Man version featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the original comic book character. The story centers around a down-on-his-luck private investigator, played by Nicolas Cage, who is forced to face his history as a superhero and consider if he should become one again.

Val is right to be concerned – there are serious issues happening behind the scenes. After accidentally sending a voice note to the studio, Brandon Wollack appears on the set of How’s That?! to tell Valerie that Josh and Mary have been fired. His explanation – that the studio owns the actors’ names and their silence, so everything is fine – isn’t very comforting, and it’s even worse to learn that the showrunner position has been given to the clearly unqualified Marco. Brandon claims they don’t need a head writer because AI can simply copy the work of others, which feels like a step backward. He’s a disturbing figure, as you’d expect from a studio executive, and he expertly manipulates Val to keep her compliant. He appeals to her ego and desire for approval by praising the pilot’s test scores and thanking her for keeping the show from becoming a bigger problem for NuNet. (It’s almost like he’s studied past seasons of The Comeback.) However, Brandon offers Val no advice on how to tell the actors about the changes, especially since she’s not allowed to reveal that the show is being written by AI.

The movie version of the character is just as endearing as fans remember from the video game. And the story behind Shadow in Sonic 3 adds depth, making him a more sympathetic and compelling character.

Oren Uziel, a co-showrunner on ‘Spider-Noir,’ has revealed that several new Spider-Man spin-off projects featuring different versions of the character are currently being worked on. He shared this news in the latest issue of SFX Magazine, which will be available on April 22nd.

Many open-world games let you create a character, but the truly great ones offer incredibly detailed customization. For example, the character creator in Cyberpunk 2077 is so extensive, it’s almost a game within itself.

According to Deadline, Charles Dance is in negotiations to appear in the next Batman movie, starring Robert Pattinson.

In “All the Dogs’ Names,” Greg is adjusting to life after his breakup with Cristle. The breakup is surprisingly comical – Cristle initiates it, expecting a fight from Greg, and is then upset when he doesn’t resist, even though she’d have turned him down regardless. During the breakup, Cristle casually mentions a difficult past event – Tommy’s dad leaving for his math teacher. It’s a bit sad to consider how Greg’s relationship with Tommy’s mom might be stirring up those old feelings for him. Poor Tommy is really struggling in this episode, and it’s concerning. He attends Greg’s seminar wearing sunglasses, claiming he only sees “a snake between two Gatorade trees” when he looks at his professor. That’s a disturbing image, Tommy, and a pretty harsh assessment of Greg!
