The last episode of The Boys, Season 5, Episode 8, will be released in movie theaters on May 19, 2026.

The last episode, called ‘Blood and Bone,’ will be shown in 4DX theaters across the U.S. and Canada at 6:30 PM Pacific Time / 9:30 PM Eastern Time. You can find it at Regal, AMC, B&B, Marcus, Cineplex, Cinema West, Cinepolis, and Regency locations.

What happened in The Boys Season 5, Episode 7?

In the seventh episode of The Boys’ fifth season, titled ‘The Frenchman, the Female and the Man Called Mother’s Milk,’ major events unfold: Homelander kills the President and freezes Soldier Boy, The Deep faces a dangerous situation underwater, Kimiko’s life is at risk, and Frenchie tragically dies. All of this happens as the entire system of superheroes begins to fall apart.

Following the death of President Calhoun, Homelander solidifies his control over the country and fully believes he’s a god. As Vought International falls apart, he breaks up the Seven and gets ready to declare himself the true leader of humanity. Even Soldier Boy realizes how dangerous Homelander has become and tries to escape, but Homelander violently stops him and puts him back into a frozen state.

With the world’s superheroes falling apart, those who used to be part of the elite group known as the Seven are starting to deal with the fallout. The Deep, in particular, is becoming more and more alone, and unusual activity from sea creatures suggests they know he was involved in the terrible pipeline accident.

Okay, so I was playing, and things got seriously creepy. My characters, Marie and Jordan, stumbled onto something really messed up happening at Vought Studios – this project called “Oh Father.” It looks like Vought’s experiments are way more dangerous than we thought, and honestly, it’s giving me the chills.

The Boys are in a desperate race against time to build a weapon that can finally defeat Homelander. They think Soldier Boy’s unique radiation powers might be the answer, so they try to give Kimiko similar abilities, hoping she’ll gain a weakness against other Supes. However, the experiment is dangerous and Kimiko’s life is threatened, causing friction within the team.

Hughie, Butcher, Annie, and M.M. break into Vought Studios hoping to uncover the truth, but they walk into a carefully planned trap. Synapse, a strong psychic who can change her appearance, tricked them by posing as Joe Kessler.

Hughie creates a distraction, giving Butcher the chance to kill Synapse and letting the team escape. At the same time, Annie and M.M. rescue prisoners who were being brainwashed during a Vought presentation, and Frenchie teams up with Sage to help Kimiko, whose condition is getting worse.

The episode reaches a heartbreaking peak when Frenchie tricks Homelander into a room filled with radiation, significantly reducing his powers. Sadly, this act costs Frenchie his life, but it buys the Boys valuable time to continue their fight.
