FBI Sets Up A Concerning Maggie & OA Change That Could End The CBS Show

I’ve been so captivated by the 26 Fed unit this season! It’s amazing how well things have been going, especially considering it started with a tragic death and Isobel nearly getting caught. But in the latest episode, “Long Shot,” I was really worried when Isobel turned down the promotion – it created a tricky situation for OA. He ended up disobeying a direct order from the new ADIC, Lawrence Green, while out in the field, and I can’t wait to see how that plays out!

Widow’s Bay Recap: One Great Party

While not as consistently funny as the first few episodes, this installment – particularly Dale’s DJ set – offers plenty of laughs. Written by Mackenzie Dohr and directed by Sam Donovan, “Beach Reads” is a surprisingly complex and fascinating episode. It deepens our understanding of the unsettling events on the island and cleverly explores how society often creates conflict between women.

The Testaments Recap: The Rules of Engagement

Shortly after taking engagement photos, future brides begin repairing broken porcelain plates. This tradition involves intentionally breaking the plates, then carefully piecing them back together. It’s also a good time to start thinking about how you’ll care for your future husband (FH).

Meg Stalter’s Dream of Doing Oh, Mary Is Coming True

The biggest question now is what will become of Sarah Sherman’s growing music career. She’d previously said she’d continue making music until she landed an acting role, and now that’s happening, it seems her pop career might be put on hold. It’s funny to think about Mary Todd Lincoln as ‘the prettiest girl in America’ during her time – something you probably hadn’t considered! While it’s too bad Sherman won’t get to play Mary Todd with her signature blonde wig, her natural curly hair will work perfectly for the part.

Good Omens Series-Finale Recap: Holding Hands at the End of the World

The season finale of Good Omens hinted at enough story potential for at least another six-episode season. However, accusations against Neil Gaiman, which surfaced in 2024—a little over a year after the show’s second season—complicated things. Gaiman co-wrote the original novel with Terry Pratchett and was heavily involved in the television adaptation, serving as creator, executive producer, and the sole writer for season one, and co-writing season two. Following the allegations, Gaiman agreed to reduce his involvement with the series. Despite this, he still receives story and writing credits for the new, shorter third season, including for the final episode, which he co-wrote with Michael Marshall Smith and Peter Atkins.

Selina Meyer Roasts Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert is a big admirer of the show Veep, so it was a real treat for him to be playfully insulted by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played Selina Meyer. He was clearly delighted throughout the entire segment, beaming as she delivered increasingly funny, harsh, and blunt jokes. She poked fun at his name, saying, “So you’re Irish, but you decided to pronounce your name French?” adding, “That’s like putting lipstick on a pig, which I understand is what Irish people do before they… well, you know.” She also brought up politics, fitting for a former president like her character, and quipped, “Your cancellation gave Donald Trump so much pleasure that I always think of you as the Stormy Daniels of late night.” While Colbert enjoyed all the ribbing, he laughed the loudest at a joke about his own mortality. Selina said, “When my people said I should come and say farewell to you, I was hoping it was more of a hospice-type situation.” The audience loved it, and the two ended the segment on good terms with a kiss and a make-up.
