The release of the new Narnia movie, directed by Greta Gerwig and set to stream on Netflix, has been pushed back to 2027.
I just got a sneak peek at the first-ever movie adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ The Magician’s Nephew, and it’s a big deal for Narnia fans! Published back in 1955, this book is widely considered the story that starts the whole Chronicles of Narnia saga – it’s where everything begins, and seeing it come to life on screen is pretty special.
Netflix announced that the film will first hit theaters on February 12, 2027, before becoming available on their streaming service on April 2, 2027.
