Popular Twitch streamer N3on shared that he uses a large team of video editors, or ‘clippers,’ to help his content spread online, and he’s reportedly paid them millions of dollars for their work.
I’ve been watching N3on, or Rangesh Mutama as he’s also known, really take off as a streamer. Honestly, it’s amazing how quickly he’s become so popular – a lot of it seems to be thanks to his hilarious and shareable clips going viral online!
The 21-year-old streamer has faced some past controversies, like accusations of using viewbots to inflate his numbers. However, he’s also effectively used short clips to help more people discover his content.
Clipping involves streamers hiring people to edit highlights from their broadcasts and share them on social media, hoping to gain popularity. This strategy has been successful for N3on.
N3on’s clippers are making big money posting his clips
Recent documents show that the streamer N3on paid 33 content creators a total of $1.4 million over five weeks, according to information shared with Business Insider.
Mutama explained that his content removal service relies on a network of around 1,000 individuals. Approximately half of these people are part of a team he and Adin Ross created in India and Nigeria, while the other half are allegedly paid directly by Kick.
N3on explained that he pays clippers $40 for every 100,000 views, and increases that to $50 when he wants to offer extra motivation. He feels the cost is justified.

He pointed out that even though a live stream might only have around 40,000 viewers at its peak, a popular clip from that stream could get up to 50 million views, which can lead to sponsorships and opportunities to work with famous people.
N3on once streamed live with Iggy Azalea, the former rapper, from a yacht. The stream itself wasn’t particularly popular, but short clips from it ended up getting a lot of views and attention.
He remembered the highlights making the stream seem much more exciting than it actually was. People weren’t really watching the live broadcast, but they saw the short clips and thought N3on and Iggy had a fantastic time on the yacht.
