What Is Dust Bunny About?
Dust Bunny is a fantasy adventure movie about a 12-year-old girl named Aurora who’s convinced a monster lives under her bed. When her parents are attacked, she’s certain it’s the monster’s fault. Since her parents don’t believe her warnings, Aurora takes matters into her own hands and asks a hitman next door to get rid of it.
Aurora lives next door to a man she thinks is a dragon slayer – she actually saw him seemingly kill a dragon, but it was just a group performing with a dragon puppet. Despite this, she asks him for help with a ‘monster’ she believes is living under her bed, even though he’s skeptical about it too.
Sophie Sloan stars as Aurora, and Sigourney Weaver plays Laverne, who manages Aurora. The film also features Sheila Atim, David Dastmalchian, Rebecca Henderson, and Line Kruse. While Dust Bunny didn’t gain much attention in cinemas despite good reviews, it’s now proving popular with viewers on streaming platforms.
Dust Bunny Has an Impressive Rotten Tomatoes Score
The movie Dust Bunny received positive reviews and was a critical success. It currently has an 86% ‘Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on reviews from critics, and an 82% audience score. On IMDb, it has a rating of 6.5 out of 10, based on 14,000 user reviews.
