Peter Jackson’s movies created a huge surge in popularity, leading to all sorts of new games, shows, and other exciting releases. There’s talk of another video game in development, and if the rumors are accurate, it could be one of the greatest Lord of the Rings games ever made.
For some time, there’s been talk that Warhorse Studios, the team behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance, is working on the open-world Lord of the Rings RPG many fans are anticipating. The studio hasn’t denied these rumors. Recently, GAMINGbible interviewed communications director Tobias Stolz-Zwilling and creative director Prokop Jirsa to find out what Warhorse Studios is planning next.
While they wouldn’t share specifics, both Jirsa and Stolz-Zwilling hinted at exciting future projects. Stolz-Zwilling emphasized that RPGs will always be a core focus for Warhorse Studios, with the company aiming to become a leading RPG developer. They plan to continue creating immersive, detailed RPG experiences, and Jirsa confirmed that a new project is already underway.
This isn’t a denial at all, and online fans are very excited about it.
“I’m quitting my job when this releases,” one post read on Twitter/X.
