There’s nothing quite like hearing Johnny Knoxville laugh when someone gets hurt, and the trailer for the new Jackass movie, Jackass: Best and Last, delivers plenty of it. Knoxville and his crew are back for what might be their final adventure. It’s actually surprising there are more Jackass movies than Fantastic Beasts films, but it makes sense – it’s a lot less expensive for the guys to playfully injure each other, even if they’re now using a robot to do… well, you get the idea.
Trying to describe what a Jackass movie is ‘about’ is pointless, but Jackass: Best and Last celebrates the series’ 25-year history with both new and classic footage, directed once again by Jeff Tremaine. Most of the original Jackass crew returns, alongside the newer members from Jackass Forever (including the popular Poopies). Although Bam Margera has resolved his issues with the team, he won’t be performing any new stunts, but the movie will feature past footage of him and Ryan Dunn. Margera has said he’s focusing on skateboarding and family, and he’s given the team permission to use older clips of him. While a movie mostly made up of old clips isn’t the most thrilling idea, these guys have already endured enough pain and deserve a bit of a rest. Plus, who doesn’t love seeing the “He fell for the soup!” stunt from Jackass 3? Jackass: Best and Last hits theaters on June 26th, so you have time to prepare!
