Developer Blast Edge Games, along with publishers Akatsuki Games and Aniplex, announced a new update for their 2D pixel action RPG, HYKE: Northern Light(s), called “A Witch’s Chill Time,” launching on April 30th.
HYKE: Northern Light(s) is out now on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam), with an Apple Arcade release coming later this year. The new update features a fresh story, new characters to meet, and exciting gameplay changes, all set in a relaxing hot spring environment.

Hey everyone, awesome news! Aniplex and Akatsuki just announced a free update for HYKE: Northern Light(s) called “A Witch’s chill time” dropping on April 30th. I’m super excited because it’s coming to Steam, Switch, and PS5 – they’re even planning an update for Apple Arcade later this year! From what I’ve heard, it’s going to add a whole new story, enemies, and gameplay stuff, and it all takes place at a hot spring, which sounds like a really cool change of scenery.
“A Witch’s chill time” begins after the heroes finish their big adventure and finally have some peace. But their relaxation is interrupted when Aurora invites Hyke and the group to a strange new world—a hot spring! Unfortunately, Aurora lost some essential items while creating the hot spring, and without them, it’s not quite perfect. Now, Haiku and the others must explore this mysterious realm to find the missing items and create the ultimate hot spring experience for everyone!
I’m so excited to share that RPG HYKE: Northern Light(s) is out now! You can grab it on Steam and Nintendo Switch for $27.99.
