Bong Joon-ho, known for dark and intense thrillers like Parasite (which made history as the first non-English film to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards), is trying something completely different with his next project, Ally. This animated drama is designed for families and will tell a story about the connection between humans and creatures living in the deep sea. Every movie Bong has directed has been critically well-received – all have a score of 75% or higher on Rotten Tomatoes, including his latest, the sci-fi thriller Mickey 17 starring Robert Pattinson, which currently has a 78% rating.

As a sci-fi fan, I’ve been really impressed with the films we’ve gotten in the 2020s. While it’s probably early to say they’re all-time greats, these movies represent the very best science fiction has offered us year after year so far this decade. They’re some of the strongest entries we’ve seen in a long time, and I’m excited to see where they land in the sci-fi canon.

On March 18th, Sony Pictures unveiled the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The trailer ended with three images that were a nod to classic Spider-Man comic book covers, referencing over 60 years of the character’s history. One of these shots showed Peter Parker swinging through New York City, with a criminal dangling beneath his arm.

All previous seasons of The Chosen have included eight episodes. While season six will have fewer episodes, the final episode will be longer than usual to compensate.

Don’t get caught up in the sensationalized media coverage. Lively believes the lawsuit is being framed as a ‘celebrity drama’ intentionally, to divert attention from the real issues and prevent people from relating to her experience. She emphasizes that online harassment can cause genuine emotional and physical harm. The lawsuit claims that Baldoni and his team deliberately launched a negative campaign against her after she reported sexual harassment to Sony Pictures.

I grew up watching the original two Star Trek series, and they really sparked my love for science fiction. But it looks like fans might not have many new Star Trek shows to watch on television for a while.

This episode is enjoyable because we see Myki and Darlene suddenly realize they have a real chance of winning. After Jane’s elimination, both contestants quickly understand they need to actively campaign for the top spot – something they hadn’t done before. For most of the competition, they were overshadowed by Jane, and everyone assumed she would win. Last week, they were just relieved to make it to the finale. Now, with Jane gone, they see a clear path to victory and start making their case to be the season’s winner.

This isn’t the first time Mickey Haller’s story has been told on screen. Matthew McConaughey previously played the character in a 2011 movie, which did well in theaters and generally received good reviews. Because of this, the new series and the movie are frequently compared to each other.

The 95-year-old actor recently shared a photo online to address rumors about his health. He explained that his granddaughter heard reports he had brain cancer, prompting his daughter to take the picture and ask him to post it as proof he’s doing well. He stated that those spreading the false stories are the ones who are truly unwell, and assured everyone he’s in good health and there’s no need to worry.
