However, some excellent shows haven’t gotten the attention they deserve. One of these is Outer Range, which only lasted two seasons on Prime Video. The series begins like a classic Yellowstonestyle western, focusing on Josh Brolin as a Wyoming rancher trying to protect his land and family. But when a strange traveler, played by Imogen Poots, arrives, a bizarre black hole appears on his property, transforming the show from a simple western into a mind-bending sci-fi mystery reminiscent of Dark or Twin Peaks*.
