The upcoming Marvel comic, Infernal Hulk, will transform Iron Man into a terrifyingly monstrous form, unlike anything fans have witnessed before.
Despite Iron Man deploying his powerful Hellbuster armor against the Hulk in The Infernal Hulk #6 (from Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Adam Gorham, Matthew Wilson, and Travis Lanham), his attack has backfired terribly. Instead of defeating the Hulk, Tony Stark is now under its control. And based on a variant cover by Juan Ferreyra, Iron Man is about to become something truly dangerous.

Okay, so the latest issue of The Infernal Hulk (#6) is going to be insane! Apparently, Iron Man is building this crazy new suit – the Hellbuster Armor – to try and take down the Infernal Hulk. Things are getting so bad that even Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are struggling! They’re planning a full-on assault to destroy the Living City and finally put an end to this whole monster age. But the big question is, will Iron Man’s new armor and a spear blessed by the One Above All be enough to keep him from getting completely wrecked by the Infernal Hulk? It sounds like a seriously tough fight!
Infernal Hulk’s Plot So Far, Explained
The recent events unfolded because of an ancient being called the Endless. It forcibly separated Bruce Banner from the Hulk, then took control of the Hulk’s body on Earth. First appearing in the 2023 Hulk Annual #1 story “Epilogue” by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Travel Foreman, the Endless was created by Vinruviel, also known as the Mother of Horrors, and its goal was to release her from a supernatural prison.
The Eldest spent months searching for the Hulk, hoping to harness his power to release its long-imprisoned mother. However, the reality was far from what it expected. After thousands of years of being sealed away, the Eldest discovered its mother was weakened and corrupted. It then shockingly devoured its mother, absorbing her power and vowing to destroy the entire mortal world in her name.
Okay, so things are really bad right now. The Avengers and the Fantastic Four are up against something potentially unbeatable. This enemy, called the Endless, is unbelievably strong – even stronger than the Hulk! – and has crazy powers of its own. But that’s not even the worst part. The Endless also commands a huge army of demons, and apparently, even beings as powerful as the most divine heroes haven’t been able to defeat it. Seriously, it looks like we’re all in trouble!
