It was only a matter of time before someone brought up Lena Dunham’s memoir, Famesick. The book includes details about Adam Driver‘s sometimes difficult behavior while filming the show Girls. This happened at a press conference for Driver’s new film, Paper Tiger. It was unlikely Driver, who generally keeps his personal life private, would actually answer the question, and he didn’t. He simply said he wasn’t going to comment and that he’d save his story for his own book someday.
That was genuinely funny – the idea of Adam Driver writing a book and his witty response just made me laugh and smile. Seriously, Adam Driver, you should write a book! You’re one of the most enigmatic and unique people in Hollywood, with a fascinating background – you served in the Marines and went to Juilliard, plus you were on HBO’s Girls. Maybe a book would finally explain what was happening in 65! If Lena Dunham’s work on Famesick did anything, it was to make Driver even more intriguing. A book would likely solve that mystery, which is why it probably won’t happen, but it’s still fun to imagine.
