Fans have had a lot to celebrate this month! The popular baking show Wizards of Baking has returned, a new audiobook version of the original novel featuring a fantastic cast is out now, and he’s back on stage as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway.
As many fans hoped, Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs recently reunited! Felton is currently performing on Broadway in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Isaacs went to see the show. He then shared a heartwarming message for his former on-screen son on Instagram, confirming the sweet reunion.
Though Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs portrayed the villainous Draco and Lucius Malfoy on screen, they share a genuinely warm and supportive friendship in real life. Their bond is much stronger than the often-contentious relationship between their characters in the Harry Potter films.
In a heartfelt caption, Isaacs wrote, ‘I came, I saw, he conquered.’ He then praised his son, saying he rose to the challenge and exceeded expectations. Isaacs admired his son’s courage and strength, expressing immense pride and joy at witnessing his success.
I was scrolling through photos from the stage play, and it was so sweet to see Aidan Close, who plays Scorpius – Draco’s son – giving Tom Felton a big hug. There was also a clip of the final bow, which was really touching. And I loved seeing Jason Isaacs posing with Tom, both in costume as Draco and after the show – a great moment for all the fans!
Felton expressed his gratitude to his father in the comments, saying he’d never felt more proud to be a Malfoy. He finished his message with a green heart emoji, a nod to his Hogwarts house, Slytherin.
It wasn’t a surprise to see them together, as The White Lotus actor promised he’d be there to support his former on-screen son. He wrote, “Can’t wait son – I’ll be in the front row with tears in my eyes!” just a day after it was announced his colleague would be performing in the play.
Tom Felton Has Multiple Projects in the Works
Tom Felton, best known for playing Draco Malfoy, is incredibly busy right now. He’s performing on Broadway until May 10, 2026, and also has two new projects lined up. One of these is a leading role in a show where he plays an ordinary person living in a world where many people have been genetically enhanced.
This movie is a satire of period dramas like The Gilded Age and Bridgerton. The cast includes Thomasin McKenzie, Ben Radcliffe, Katherine Waterston, Emma Laird, Tom Goodman-Hill, Ramon Tikaram, Tim Mcmullan, Anna Maxwell Martin, Sue Johnston, and Damian Lewis.
