Netflix is developing a new series based on the popular board game Catan. They’re partnering with Asmodee to bring the game to life on screen, with plans for a full-fledged franchise. Catan involves players building settlements, forming alliances, and competing for limited resources in a dynamic island setting, all while dealing with the challenges of roaming bandits.
Okay, so Netflix just dropped some seriously cool news! They’re making shows and movies based on Catan! Netflix has experience with gaming content. They’ve already had success adapting games into shows, most notably with the popular series Arcane. Other examples of their game-based projects include Castlevania, Exploding Kittens, and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
