This week, Star Wars enthusiasts can expand their collections with a beautiful new edition of the novelization for Revenge of the Sith. Released to mark the 20th anniversary of Episode III, the Revenge of the Sith Deluxe Hardcover Edition is available starting October 14th for $55.80 (originally $60). This special edition not only looks fantastic but also features fresh perspectives and insights from author Matthew Stover.
The Deluxe Edition of *Revenge of the Sith* is now available, perfect for revisiting the story before the new *Star Wars* novel, *Master of Evil*, comes out on November 11th. You can pre-order the hardcover edition of *Master of Evil* now for $27.90, discounted from its original price of $30.
Star Wars Novelizations
So, I’ve been digging into the Star Wars novelizations, and it turns out every single movie – all nine Episodes, plus *Rogue One* and *Solo* – has an official book version! Everyone says the books based on the Prequel Trilogy are the best, and honestly, they’re all pretty good reads. Good news is, they’re not going out of print anytime soon! They’re re-releasing paperback editions of *The Phantom Menace*, *Attack of the Clones*, and *Revenge of the Sith* next June, but you can already get them. If you want the best deal, though, you can grab the whole Prequel Trilogy in one huge paperback for just $18 on Amazon – it’s normally $24. And if you’re an Original Trilogy fan like me, you can get *their* novelizations collected in one book for only $10 (usually $15)!
The Star Wars prequel films benefited from talented writers with backgrounds in fantasy and science fiction. For example, Matt Stover, a well-known author of Star Wars novels, adapted *Revenge of the Sith* into a book. Terry Brooks, famous for his *Shannara* series, novelized *The Phantom Menace*, and R.A. Salvatore, creator of the *Drizzt* saga, wrote the novelization for *Attack of the Clones*.
The book versions of the original Star Wars trilogy were recently re-released in paperback. We expect the upcoming paperback releases of the prequel trilogy to have similar cover art. You can find a complete list of all the Star Wars book adaptations below.
