The popular game Prop Hunt is getting a creative makeover! A new version where players camouflage themselves with paint is quickly becoming a hit, making the game much more challenging and visually interesting.
Okay, so Prop Hunt is this super fun game mode I’ve played in a bunch of games like Call of Duty, Garry’s Mod, CS2 and even Fortnite – it used to be in Overwatch too! Basically, you split into two teams: hiders and seekers. It’s pretty simple; the hiders get some time to run around and hide, but here’s the cool part – they can turn into objects to really blend in with their surroundings! Then, the seekers have to find them. It’s based on hide-and-seek, obviously, but way more chaotic and hilarious.
Get ready for a lot of fun and crazy action! Players will be dodging and chasing each other across the map using traffic cones and barrels – one team trying to get away, and the other trying to tag them.
A fresh update to the game mode is here, adding a popular new twist! Now, instead of simply disguising yourself as objects, you’ll need to camouflage by painting yourself to match your surroundings.
Meccha Chameleon hits 95k players as fans embrace hide-and-seek chaos
Okay, so Meccha Chameleon is basically this super fun hide-and-seek game. You play as these white chameleon characters and have to blend into the environment to avoid being found. We get paintbrushes and different colors to camouflage ourselves – it’s all about posing and matching the background! It’s a really new and cool take on the classic game.

It’s more challenging than you might think. Finding people who are well-hidden and cleverly camouflaged is really difficult for those who are searching, no matter how creative the hiders are.
The game has generated a lot of buzz, receiving excellent reviews on Steam and attracting over 95,000 concurrent players according to SteamDB. It’s been incredibly popular with players, selling one million copies within its first four days.
One reviewer playfully compared playing the game to both a children’s game of hide-and-seek and mistakenly joining an important art school exam. Others simply described it as hilariously silly and enjoyable.
Players are really enjoying the fast-paced and unpredictable new version of Prop Hunt. It’s proving popular in the same way that other unusual games have – like Hamster Days, where you play as a hamster, or a dating sim featuring bugs with voice acting from the cast of Attack on Titan.
