However, the pressure of the situation led her to start drinking and using drugs, ultimately causing her to miss the trial where she was scheduled to testify against her fiancé.

Caroline was initially arrested and faced a court penalty, but she was released when Sandy and Robert admitted guilt to causing a death and trying to obstruct justice.

She says she’s now much closer to her family and has started dating someone who is very kind.
