Hatsune Miku, the popular virtual singer, is expanding her brand with a line of fishing equipment – because everyone, even digital pop stars, needs a hobby!
Dress, a popular fishing and outdoor company, has partnered with Hatsune Miku to create a unique collection of fishing gear featuring the famous virtual singer.
The collection features 12 different products, including a light-up fishing reel and rod, plus Miku-themed fishing tackle like lures and pliers. It also includes a waterproof backpack, clothing, and collectible items like stickers and badges.
Hatsune Miku’s gone fishing
The most eye-catching products are definitely the Hatsune Miku reel – it lights up when you crank the handle – and the 120cm Miku fishing rod, which glows green.
This combination is especially great for fishing at night, allowing you to easily see when a fish bites. The rod and reel each cost ¥5,500 (about $34), making the total around $68. That’s a reasonable price if you want a fun, unique fishing setup with a Hatsune Miku glowstick theme.

You can also find metal fishing lures featuring designs of popular Piapro characters like Hatsune Miku, Meiko, Kaito, Rin, Len, and Luka.
The package also includes fishing lures weighing 30 and 40 grams, a set of Miku Q squid lures, an eight-inch aluminum plier, and PE fishing line in Miku colors. The line comes with stickers you can peel and stick on as you like.
A Hatsune Miku-themed fishing collection will be released in Japan on June 11, 2026, and you can preorder it now.
This year hasn’t seen just one Hatsune Miku collaboration! The popular virtual singer has partnered with the game Honkai Star Rail, a historic Japanese knife company, and even launched her own line of spicy hot sauces.
