Chili’s is jumping on the popular boba trend with a new, limited-time margarita that includes popping boba pearls.
The popular chain announced a new drink, the Popping Boba Margarita, which will be available starting April 30th. It’s part of their monthly Margarita series and will be offered through May, just in time for National Boba Day.
This refreshing drink costs $6 and is made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, watermelon flavoring, our homemade sour mix, and fun Dragonfruit Popping Boba.
Chili’s leans into boba trend with new margarita
Chili’s is adding a new margarita to its popular monthly lineup of limited-time drinks.
The Popping Boba Marg features fun, flavorful bursts of dragonfruit popping boba – small spheres that release their taste when you bite into them, adding a unique texture to the drink.

In addition to their alcoholic lemonade, Chili’s now has a non-alcoholic Popping Boba Lemonade available for $5, and it includes the same fun boba pearls.
This new drink is connected to the brand’s Margarita of the Month Club. When customers order the featured monthly margarita – starting with the Popping Boba Marg – they can earn digital stickers. By ordering three months in a row, they can track their progress and unlock special rewards.
Chili’s isn’t alone in adding popping boba to its desserts. McDonald’s recently introduced a K-Pop Demon Hunters Meal that included a berry McFlurry with boba pearls.
