Bleach’s Teenage Hero Will Appeal to Solo Leveling Fans
While there are many enjoyable aspects to Bleach, it shares the most similarities with Solo Leveling when looking at the main characters. Both stories center around strong male leads who start with nothing and rise to become heroes, driven by a desire to protect the people they care about—a common thread in action series featuring monster hunting.
Ichigo and Jin-woo both nearly died in the beginning of their stories, but each of them managed to gain immense power just when they needed it most. Jin-woo survived a deadly attack by statues, while Ichigo was saved by Rukia Kuchiki, who gave him the power to defeat a dangerous Hollow after he was attacked.
