Lego PlayStation set leaked for late 2026 with almost 2,000 pieces

Rumors suggest Lego is planning a set modeled after the original PlayStation console, potentially releasing later this year. Leaks have surfaced hinting at this nostalgic brick-building project.

A new Lego PlayStation set is predicted to be released in December 2026, costing around $160. Sources say the set will have 1,911 pieces and include at least one Lego version of a PlayStation controller.

According to reports, the new console will look just like the original PlayStation, released in 1994. That first PlayStation was incredibly popular and helped shape the gaming world as we know it.

Lego PS1 could join brick-based console sets

The original PlayStation brought popular game series like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, and Resident Evil to a huge audience, introducing millions of players to these franchises.

The original gray PlayStation was incredibly popular, so when Sony released limited-edition PS5 bundles designed to look like it for the 30th anniversary, they sold out almost immediately due to high demand.

In 2020, Lego and Nintendo collaborated to create a buildable replica of the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Then, in 2025, they released a Lego version of the Game Boy, letting fans construct the iconic handheld console that changed portable gaming.
