Beast Games Season 2 winner gives huge relationship update for players 152 Monika & 173 Jim

Although Monika (Player 152) and Jim (Player 173) didn’t win the $5 million prize on Beast Games, they fell in love during the show. The winner of Season 2 has now announced that they’ve reached a significant relationship milestone.

The final episode of MrBeast’s competition show premiered on Prime Video this week, featuring the last six contestants competing in challenges for a chance to win a huge cash prize.

Ultimately, Tyler Lucas, known as Player 167, won the competition and the prize money. He had already won $100,000 during Beast Games Season 2 and is currently saving both winnings.

I was so excited to hear from Tyler after everything was revealed! TopMob got a chance to chat with him, and he talked about what it was like being on the show and gave us the latest on how all the other contestants are doing. It was really cool to get his perspective on everything.

Beast Games Season 2 players Jim & Monika mark relationship milestone

Tyler shared that he’s still in contact with Jim and Monika, and they’re not only still together, but have recently started living together.

The couple found love while competing on Season 2 of Beast Games, and they even had an informal wedding ceremony in Beast City.

Fans wondered if the couple was still together after filming wrapped in summer 2025, and they later confirmed on social media that their relationship continued.

Tyler shared his enthusiasm, saying he really likes these people. He described them as funny and enjoyable to be around, and expressed his happiness for their relationship. He added that they are still together and now live together.

I’m genuinely glad things worked out well for them, and I have only positive things to say. They’re both really funny and always know how to brighten everyone’s day, especially Jim.

Jim and Monika found romance on the show, and they also won a significant amount of money. Monika earned $510,000 through winning challenges and a special ‘double-or-nothing’ coin, while Jim took home a total of $137,547.

Tyler found it “tough” to watch runner-up Cory

Tyler, the $5.1 million winner, admitted it was tough watching the finale, especially seeing runner-up Cory Sims, also known as Player 191.

During the final round, Tyler, Cory, and Brett (Player 195) were the last contestants remaining. To narrow it down to just two finalists, MrBeast offered another incentive.

Everyone was poised with their finger over a button, watching a number on their screen grow steadily higher. When the amount reached $1 million, Brett was the first to press his button. Combined with his previous winnings from Beast Games Season 2, he ended up with a total of $1,193,000.

Unlike the other finalists, Cory never accepted any large bribes or payments during the competition, resulting in the smallest total earnings. This was particularly tough for Tyler to witness, considering Cory has a wife and three kids to support.

Tyler shared that he and Corey talk frequently and that Corey is a genuinely good person. He described Corey as humble, kind, and caring, adding that no one has anything negative to say about him.

Honestly, winning felt…weird. I was happy about the money, of course, but it stung knowing I’d beaten a really good guy to get it. He’s genuinely one of the best, and deserves all the success in the world, so it was a tough moment for me, for sure.

Tyler described feeling a mix of joy and excitement after winning, but it was difficult knowing his close friend had missed out on the same opportunity.

I’ve already watched the Season 2 finale of Beast Games twice, and honestly, it was hard to watch even on the second go-around, as Tyler said. It was just… tough!

Seeing him like that really gets to me, and it’s still hard knowing I was the one who got the job instead of someone from his family.

Following the season finale, many fans want to see Cory compete again in Season 3 of Beast Games, but it’s uncertain if he’ll be asked back. Tyler, on the other hand, would be happy to return and help another competitor succeed if given the chance.

Tyler expressed excitement about potentially returning for a third season, learning what it has to offer, and then helping a future contestant win, just as Jeff helped him.

I’d absolutely take that opportunity if it comes up, but if not, that’s okay. I’m grateful for the experience I’ve had and I’m incredibly thankful to the Beast team for everything.
