WWE 2K26 Gameplay

Okay, so WWE 2K26 is basically the same WWE 2K game we all know and love, but honestly, it feels like they’ve really stepped it up this time around. They’ve made improvements in a lot of areas, and it definitely shows!

One of the game’s standout features is its huge selection of wrestlers – you can play as over 400 WWE Superstars and Legends. It includes popular names like John Cena and Hulk Hogan, plus many other iconic figures from wrestling history.

WWE 2K26 expands on the action with new match types like I Quit, Inferno, and Dumpster matches. Plus, you can still enjoy popular modes such as MyFACTION, MyRISE, Universe, The Island, MyGM, and others.

Each game mode has been carefully updated. The Island mode now features a new Scrapyard Brawl Arena, and Universe Mode includes the exciting addition of the WWE Draft. You can now hold a draft and then manage weekly shows, premium live events, superstar rivalries, and even determine the results. Other enhancements have also been made.

  • A Universe Creation Wizard
  • Improved Money in the Bank Cash-ins
  • Additional Promo Types

WWE 2K26 feels like a typical game in the series for long-time players. The new additions, particularly in Universe mode, seem promising. However, it remains to be seen what improvements have been made to Showcase mode.

WWE 2K26 Story

WWE 2K26 offers several storylines to play through. This year’s Showcase mode focuses on CM Punk, letting you experience his most famous rivalries from throughout his career.

Jack Brooks, also known as CM Punk, is 47 years old and has a long and interesting career. Before joining AEW and retiring, he had a very successful run in WWE, where he held a championship title for a significant amount of time – the 10th longest in WWE history. After returning to wrestling, he quickly regained his form and is now the current Heavyweight World Champion. He’s scheduled to fight Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42.

That covers everything about WWE 2K26, including when it comes out, how it plays, and the latest trailer. We hope you enjoy the new game! While you wait, you can read our review of WWE 2K25.
