Pop star Dua Lipa surprised many by having her wedding close to home. She married actor Callum Turner in a private ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on May 31st. Photos published by The Sun show the couple looking effortlessly stylish. Dua wore a stunning white Schiaparelli skirt suit with a matching hat and gloves, a look reminiscent of Bianca Jagger’s iconic wedding outfit from 1971. Callum looked sharp in a navy Ferragamo suit. As they left the town hall, the happy couple were showered with confetti.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner were first seen together in January 2024 at the premiere of Turner’s show, Masters of Air. They confirmed their relationship publicly at the Glastonbury festival in July, and announced their engagement last June. Lipa described the decision to spend their lives together as “very exciting,” explaining that they want to grow old together and be best friends forever, calling it a “really special feeling” in an interview with British Vogue.
Similar to Charli XCX and George Daniel, Dua Lipa and her husband legally married in London, but they’re planning a larger celebration in Italy. According to The Sun, this second, more elaborate ceremony will be held at the Villa Igiea in Palermo.
