Oregon State vs. Texas Tech Orange Bowl Results According to College Football 26
Okay, so I just checked College Football 26, and it’s predicting a nail-biter! Apparently, Texas Tech is going to win against Oregon, 37-34, but it’ll go to overtime first. And the big news is, that win sends Texas Tech to the Chik-Fil-A Peach Bowl! I’m hyped to see if the game plays out like the simulation says.
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | OT | FINAL |
| #5 ORE | 7 | 6 | 3 | 15 | 3 | 34 |
| #4 TTU | 7 | 3 | 7 | 14 | 6 | 37 |
The game started slowly, but the fourth quarter saw a sudden surge in scoring. Late in the third quarter, Texas Tech running back Cameron Dickey scored a 26-yard touchdown, giving his team the lead for the first time since the beginning of the game.
Texas Tech quickly recovered a fumble on Oregon’s first play of their next possession, and Dickey scored again, giving him three touchdowns in the game. Despite this, Texas Tech’s lead remains narrow at 24-16 – just one possession.
Oregon matched Texas Tech’s scoring drive with a touchdown of their own (a reception by Malik Benson), and then quickly regained possession with a turnover. Shortly after, Makhi Hughes helped Oregon extend their lead to 31-24 with 7:49 remaining in the game.
Man, it was so exciting at the end! Texas Tech finally got the ball back late in the fourth quarter, and with only 37 seconds left, Behren Morton threw a perfect 6-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Carter Jr. to tie things up! I was on the edge of my seat!
During overtime, Oregon could only manage a field goal, which was a small victory. Texas Tech immediately responded with a touchdown on their first play – a 25-yard pass from Morton to Reggie Virgil – securing their spot in the Peach Bowl.
Texas Tech advanced to the Semi-Finals and will face either Alabama or Indiana. See the scoring details below!

That concludes our simulation of the Oregon versus Texas Tech game in College Football 26. Thanks for watching, and we’ll have more game simulations for you soon!
We’re working on making our game simulations better in several ways. Right now, though, it looks like changes we make to CPU and player settings don’t affect games where the CPU plays against itself. We’re still committed to improving these simulations, however.
