I actually saw it myself, and like everyone else, I’ve been scrolling through social media seeing all the buzz. It’s so crazy to learn that one of the most talked-about lines wasn’t even in the original script – talk about a happy accident!
A fan on Twitter highlighted a funny moment in the movie: when Idris Elba’s character, Chief Bogo, calls Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) a dismissive “orange dog.” Jared Bush, the director of Zootopia 2 and a creative leader at Walt Disney Animation Studios, replied to the fan, explaining that the line was actually improvised by Elba himself.
Idris Elba spontaneously came up with the line ‘Orange Dog’ while recording, and we immediately knew it was perfect for the film.

Someone pointed out that the line sounds like it could have been said by another animated character Idris Elba voices, and they might be right.
