Our desire for instant results, combined with having so much readily available, and our need for immediate satisfaction, all feel dangerous to the creative process.

The actor feels that our flaws and limitations are what make us human, and that creating anything worthwhile always involves challenges. Benedict Cumberbatch believes art develops gradually, often because of our imperfections. He thinks true fulfillment for an artist comes from pushing through difficulties and overcoming obstacles.

I’m not against new technologies – I see how they can be used alongside traditional methods in biochemistry and still produce meaningful results without sacrificing genuine creativity.
