10 Most Powerful Invincible Characters After Season 4

Please be aware that this article contains spoilers for Invincible season 4. Season 4 of Invincible marks a crucial moment for its characters, pushing them to fully utilize their abilities as the Viltrumite threat intensifies. While established, powerful characters like Nolan and Allen continue to demonstrate their strength, the new season also allows newer heroes like Oliver to develop their powers and potential.

The Viltrumites are established as the most powerful beings in Invincible, but characters like Battle Beast and Atom Eve are strong enough to challenge them. Season 4 of Invincible featured the deaths of many powerful characters, highlighting that those who remain are the strongest the series has shown us yet.

Each season of Invincible has featured increasingly powerful characters, especially Mark, as the show details his development after gaining superpowers. However, the newest season takes the action to a whole new level. It introduces not only the most formidable villains Invincible has ever seen, but also the strongest characters in the series overall. With such intense battles between the show’s best heroes and villains, it’s worth considering who truly lives up to the title of ‘invincible’.

Oliver

Oliver Grayson is the youngest of the brothers and isn’t as physically strong as his older sibling yet. But he’s showing great promise, and Mark has taken on the role of training him. Because Oliver is half-Thraxan and half-Viltrumite, he’s been developing his powers quickly, even faster than his brother.

Invincible Season 4’s Strongest Characters And When They Debuted In The Show
Character Season
Oliver 2
Lucan 2
Anissa 2
Allen 1
Battle Beast 1
Atom Eve 1
Invincible 1
Nolan 1
Kregg 2
Thragg 4

Oliver has quickly demonstrated his fighting skills, easily defeating the Mauler twins. He also stepped up to protect the world when Invincible was unable to. While he’s powerful, it’s unlikely Oliver will ever reach the same level as Mark or other Viltrumites, as his Thraxan heritage, while beneficial in some ways, isn’t as strong as pure Viltrumite DNA.

Lucan

Lucan is easily one of the most powerful figures in the Vitrumite empire. Despite suffering a horrific injury – having his insides ripped out by Omni-Man in season 2 of Invincible – he was still able to injure Nolan. However, the latest episodes of the Prime Video superhero series haven’t showcased his fighting abilities as much as fans might expect.

Honestly, watching Lucan fight Thaedus during the battle against the Coalition of Planets was incredible! He really proved himself, especially considering some of his fellow soldiers didn’t make it. It just shows how incredibly resilient he is. He’s a warrior through and through, and you can tell he’s driven by his loyalty to the Viltumite Empire and all the training he’s had – he’s a force to be reckoned with, a truly effective fighter.

Anissa

When Anissa appeared in season 2 of Invincible, she immediately demonstrated a power level far exceeding anything Omni-Man had shown, proving the Viltrumites were capable of incredible strength. As a highly experienced warrior, she’s quickly become one of the most powerful characters in the series. Anissa fights with a terrifying level of control, making her a brutal and dangerous opponent.

Season 4 of Invincible didn’t center around Invincible as much as previous seasons. However, Invincible is still incredibly powerful – very few characters in the series could win a fight against her without getting hurt. She’s consistently proven why she’s one of Thragg’s most trusted allies.

Allen

Among all the members of the Coalition of Planets, Allen has improved the most. Originally built as a weapon to fight the Viltrumites, the Coalition’s leader is now one of the most powerful fighters in Invincible. When Allen first appeared in the series, he didn’t seem very dangerous.

I was blown away by how much stronger Allen got after Thaedus’s training! He can actually go toe-to-toe with a Viltrumite now and even hurt them. While Allen’s a fantastic fighter, the end of season 4 of Invincible hinted that he might be the only one who can really beat the Viltrumites, because he has a new and improved version of the Scourge virus. I’m really curious to see if he’ll actually use it in the next season, though!

Battle Beast

As a huge fan of Invincible, I was a little disappointed we didn’t see much of Battle Beast in season 4. But honestly, his fights in earlier seasons already showed us he’s a serious threat to the Viltrumites – especially that incredible beatdown he gave one of them during Allen and Nolan’s prison escape! He’s always looking for a good fight, and it was awesome to finally see him get another chance to unleash his power when the Coalition faced off against the remaining Viltrumites. That battle was brutal, and he really went to work on the enemy.

Although Battle Beast hasn’t defeated any Viltrumites yet, he clearly has the power to do so. Considering the Viltrumites are still around, waiting for a chance to resume their attacks, it’s obvious Battle Beast is looking forward to a rematch with a truly challenging enemy.

Atom Eve

Atom Eve’s abilities have been growing stronger throughout the series, starting in season 1 of Invincible. A clear example of her power is her fight with Conquest, where she not only survived but also weakened him with an energy blast, allowing Mark to win. However, in season 4 of Invincible, Eve wasn’t operating at her full potential. Her pregnancy caused her powers to become unstable and glitch throughout the season.

So, season four of Invincible wrapped up with Eve really focusing on school and gradually getting her powers back – it was great to see! It’s clear they’re building her up to be a seriously powerful player. Once she fully unlocks everything, I have a feeling she’ll be right up there with the strongest characters in the whole series, capable of going toe-to-toe with the Viltrumites and anyone else who tries to mess with them.

Invincible

Mark Grayson, the hero known as Invincible, has grown tremendously since the beginning of the series, where he suffered a brutal beating from his father. He’s faced numerous incredibly powerful enemies and survived devastating injuries. While he’s managed to overcome many challenges, he’s far from unbeatable and still has a lot to learn and experience.

Right now, Invincible isn’t strong enough to beat Thragg, even after all his training. He was almost killed by Conquest recently and needed months to recover. With Thragg and the Viltrumite army becoming a major danger, Mark will likely focus all his efforts on getting ready for a future fight with the Grand Regent, and hopefully, it will be enough.

Nolan

In the first season of Invincible, Nolan was portrayed as a formidable hero, and villains genuinely feared him. At that time, no one on Earth possessed the power to defeat him. Despite facing challenges throughout the series, Nolan remains a highly skilled and powerful warrior, thanks to his rigorous Viltrumite training, making him one of the empire’s strongest fighters.

Season 4 of Invincible showed us why Nolan Grayson was so respected. Throughout the series, only full-blooded Viltrumites and possibly Allen the Alien have demonstrated the power to defeat him. Alongside Mark, Nolan fought against Thragg and even helped destroy his own planet. While not as strong as the Grand Regent, Nolan is still powerful enough to hold his own in a fight and deliver some serious blows.

Kregg

Let’s talk about Kregg, Thragg’s right-hand man. You don’t see him out on the front lines much – he’s more of a strategist, the mastermind behind a lot of those Viltrumite attacks. And believe me, he knows what he’s doing; Thragg doesn’t keep someone around without serious tactical skill. We haven’t seen a ton of Kregg in action in Invincible yet, but the fights he has been in? They’re enough to show you just how powerful this Viltrumite really is. He’s not just a planner, he can fight.

Kregg is one of the oldest and most experienced Viltrumite conquerors, surpassed only by Thragg. He’s incredibly strong, fast, and tough, making him a dangerous enemy. Throughout much of Invincible season 4, Kregg mostly operates behind the scenes, but he does get involved in a direct attack on the Coalition of Planets with his army.

Thragg

After Nolan’s shocking reveal at the end of Invincible season 1, it became obvious he was just a piece of a much larger threat: the Viltrumite Empire. It wasn’t until season 3 that we finally met the true leader behind the Viltrumite invasion. Thragg, who became the Grand Regent after his mentor Argall died, perfectly represented the full power and capability of his species.

Thragg, the Grand Regent, was raised from childhood to be the strongest Viltrumite. He’s an incredibly skilled fighter, and so far, no one in the Invincible universe has been able to defeat him in battle. Even when all the planets joined forces to fight him, they couldn’t even injure him. What we’ve seen of Thragg’s abilities in season 4 of Invincible is just a small glimpse of his true power. We’ll only see his full strength when the heroes and villains finally clash.
