The popular card game Yu-Gi-Oh! is partnering with Nissin, the makers of instant noodles, to create a real-life version of one of its most famous spell cards.
This collaboration turns the popular Instant Fusion trading card into a real-life product: a noodle cup that looks exactly like the one featured on the card, available for fans to purchase.
In the card game Yu-Gi-Oh, Instant Fusion is a spell card that allows players to quickly summon a powerful Fusion Monster, though it requires them to lose some Life Points to do so.
The trading card famously included a picture of instant noodles to represent its unique combination of ideas, and now, that idea has actually come to life.
Instant Fusion becomes a real Cup Noodle
To celebrate the partnership, Nissin has created a limited-edition Cup Noodle inspired by the Instant Fusion card. The packaging and design match the artwork from the card, playfully bringing the idea of ‘instant fusion’ to life as a tasty snack.
The special edition product became available on March 18, 2026, and can only be purchased from Nissin’s online shop in Japan.
Even though it tastes just like regular Cup Noodles, this limited edition also comes with a unique collectible card.
Similar to other anime partnerships, this is a limited-time offer available only while supplies last. That means Yu-Gi-Oh! fans might want to grab it quickly, as it could become a valuable collectible.
