So, Creepy Jar – the guys who made Green Hell – just dropped a new game called StarRupture. It’s still a survival game where you’re fighting against a tough environment, but honestly, it’s way more about building a base than Green Hell was. If you’re into games like Satisfactory or Factorio, you need to check this one out. The only downside right now is it’s only available on PC. I’m really hoping they bring it to consoles like Xbox or PlayStation 5 eventually, though!
StarRupture Xbox and PS5 release
Given how popular StarRupture has become – it’s already the biggest Steam release of the year – we’d be shocked if it didn’t come to consoles eventually. But don’t expect it to happen right away.
The developers of StarRupture say they’re aiming to finish the Early Access period within a year, but release dates often change. Even if the full game comes out next year, don’t expect console versions right away. The game Green Hell, for example, wasn’t released on Xbox and PlayStation consoles for over a year after its initial release.
Okay, so as of right now, there’s no word on whether Goat Simulator 3 will come to consoles. The developers, Creepy Jar, are really concentrating on making the PC version the best it can be. If you’re hoping for a console port, the best thing to do is head over to their official Discord and let them know! Just be warned, they’re still working on even getting controller support working on PC, so it’s going to take a while. But if enough of us ask nicely, they might change their minds!
