White Castle is expanding beyond traditional restaurants with a new push into automated dining.
White Castle is expanding its reach by installing 1,000 vending machines across the US that will serve its popular Sliders. This allows the chain to offer its food in places where building a traditional restaurant isn’t possible.
The company recently announced a new program called Crave & Go, which uses self-service kiosks to provide customers with food whenever they want it. The kiosks are designed to be easy to use and available in convenient locations.
White Castle rolling out 1,000 Crave & Go vending machines
White Castle’s Crave & Go orders are made fresh when customers request them, offering a quick and easy way to enjoy Sliders, even in areas without a traditional White Castle restaurant. This is made possible through a technology platform designed for on-the-go convenience, according to a recent announcement.
The launch is already underway, and initial reports show people are responding very positively.
White Castle is partnering with Automated Retail Technologies, LLC to put their vending machines in more places, like college campuses, businesses, hospitals, and other workplaces.

The company aims to reach customers in areas without its restaurants by using self-service kiosks and vending machines in busy locations to satisfy demand.
Automated Retail Technologies’ platform is currently helping businesses in many different sectors grow quickly. White Castle has also announced it will use the technology to test new products in the future.
White Castle and ART will work together to try out new products and menu items created specifically for ordering systems that don’t involve a cashier, according to a recent announcement.
The company is starting with 1,000 locations and intends to expand significantly. They anticipate faster growth as they install more kiosks across the country throughout the year.
