Twitch streamer Hmblzayy is attempting a huge challenge: walking 3,000 miles across the U.S., starting in Philadelphia and ending in California.
On the thirty-third day of his continuous live stream, viewers spotted a dark-colored car seemingly following Zayy as he walked along a road in Indiana.
A car suddenly hit Zayy, knocking him and his equipment onto the ground. Immediately after the crash, a woman’s voice was heard yelling obscenities, angrily demanding to know if the driver had seen her.
Eventually, police and firefighters arrived, and one of the officers kindly offered to drive Zayy and his things to a hospital for medical attention.
I was so shocked to hear that hmblzayy, the streamer who’s been walking all the way from Philadelphia to California, got hit by a car in Indiana! He had to go to the hospital, and I’m really hoping he’s okay and recovers quickly. It’s scary to think about what could have happened!

Twitch streamer gives update from hospital after being struck by car
Shortly after, the streamer updated worried fans on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself in a hospital bed with a neck brace.
Hey everyone, thanks so much for checking in on me, I really appreciate it. I’m doing okay, they’re just doing some tests right now. I’m hoping to be back streaming soon! We’re gonna power through this and finish that race, no way I’m letting this get me down.
I’m determined to complete the difficult journey I’m on, and I’m grateful for the strength I receive from my faith. Simply being alive is what’s most important to me.

People are showing a lot of support for Zayy after what happened, sending him their hopes for a full recovery.
Zayy is walking 3,000 miles to raise money for a special project: a trade school. The school will teach teenagers practical skills like plumbing and electrical work, plus important life skills like managing money and understanding accounting.
He’s working to collect $250,000 to build the school and has already raised $42,000 through the project’s GoFundMe page.

Zayy shared that his personal experiences motivated him to begin the project. He had to leave college after his second year because his family couldn’t cover the tuition costs.
Facing that obstacle, I had to get creative. I began by selling simple items – pressed hoodies – from my car. With dedication, consistency, and self-belief, I turned that small start into a successful business. The experience taught me a valuable lesson: there’s more than one way to achieve your goals.
I’m now focused on helping teenagers overcome the challenges I experienced growing up. This isn’t just a personal goal; it’s about opening doors, helping them build successful lives, and proving that their background doesn’t limit what they can achieve.
