Mickey Rourke is in danger of losing his home in Los Angeles, and his team has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help. Liya-Joelle Jones, a friend and manager, explained to The Hollywood Reporter that Rourke gave his full approval for the fundraiser. She said it’s been heartwarming to see the support for him during this tough time. The GoFundMe page notes that despite his successful career and contributions, Rourke is currently facing financial hardship that threatens his housing.
In March 2025, actor Mickey Rourke rented the former home of author Raymond Chandler. The following month, he was removed from the reality show Celebrity Big Brother after making offensive comments towards JoJo Siwa. The Los Angeles Times reported that the monthly rent started at $5,200 but was later raised to $7,000. Rourke currently owes $59,100 in unpaid rent and, according to the Times, received an eviction notice on December 18th.
