The Apple TV+ show *The Studio* had an incredible Emmy season, winning a record-breaking 13 awards! This is the most Emmys ever received in a single season by a comedy series, surpassing the previous record held by *The Bear*. The show’s wins included awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, as well as for its writing, directing, and performances.
After winning Outstanding Comedy Series, Seth Rogen expressed sincere gratitude to viewers who watched and voted for the show, admitting he was surprisingly overjoyed. The show’s creators then thanked the executives who inspired and supported their series, even giving a special shout-out to Apple CEO Tim Cook, who was seen happily nodding along. As Rogen left the stage, he playfully urged everyone to thank the executives!
Seth Rogen’s show received nine awards at the Creative Arts Emmys, which took place before the main Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14th. In his speech after winning Best Actor in a Comedy Series, Rogen admitted he was completely surprised. “I honestly didn’t expect to win, so I didn’t prepare a speech,” he said. He jokingly revealed that this was his first award ever, recalling a childhood experience where he bought a used bowling trophy at a sale, and his parents encouraged him to do so.
While accepting the award for directing a comedy series, Rogen thanked the entire team, saying the show’s success relies on everyone working together with a lot of dedication. He emphasized that the award wouldn’t have been possible without their hard work.
The Studio didn’t perform as well in the Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy categories. Ike Barinholtz lost to Jeff Hiller from Somebody Somewhere, and Catherine O’Hara and Kathryn Hahn were beaten by Katherine LaNasa of The Pitt. It’s just impossible to win every award!
Below, every category The Studio won at the 2025 Emmy awards.
