The reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is expanding with a new spinoff series based in Orange County, California. The original cast announced the new group of women, who are also connected to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following in the footsteps of the original show, which introduced viewers to a unique lifestyle, this new series will showcase a group of online influencers navigating the challenges of balancing their faith with their public image. This time, however, they’re trading the Utah mountains for the California coast – and dealing with notoriously bad traffic! At least they’ll have easy access to Disneyland.
The cast of the new reality show includes popular YouTubers like Aspyn Ovard and Avery Woods, along with Salomé Andrea, McCall DaPron (Mayci Neeley’s sister), Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease, and Madison Bontempo. Podcaster Bobbi Althoff is also joining, and there’s even a hope Drake might tune in! According to ABC executive Rob Mills, expect to see more familiar faces pop up – especially Mayci Neeley, since her sister is on the show. He also hinted at potential appearances from cast members of the OC reality series, suggesting the show will feature connections and crossovers between different groups and locations.
Curious about the potential for drama with the new cast? There’s already plenty brewing: a nurse who became rich through social media, a mom managing two young stars, and a cast member involved in a three-person relationship. It’s clear the excitement isn’t limited to Utah!
