Celebrating 25 years of Lorelai and Rory’s adventures, the original soundtrack to Gilmore Girls is now available digitally! Fans can also preorder a vinyl copy from WaterTower Music, with CD and cassette versions available for those without a record player. Created with Amy Sherman-Palladino, the soundtrack includes composer Sam Phillips’ music from all seven seasons – 18 tracks of the gentle guitar and catchy melodies that made the show so memorable, even during commercial breaks.
Composer Phillips is excited to announce the release of a new album featuring music from the show Gilmore Girls. He jokingly said that if he had a new episode for every fan request to release the music, he’d be overjoyed. He described working on the album as a nostalgic experience, feeling transported back to Stars Hollow with all its familiar comforts and quirks. Phillips hopes the music will bring listeners back to the beloved world of Lorelai and Rory, and the Gilmore universe as a whole.
Five colors of vinyl records are available now, perfect for gifting. Two exclusive colors can only be found at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, the home of the Stars Hollow set. Another vinyl design, themed around coffee, will be released soon. Let’s be real – who doesn’t love coffee?
