The Family Stone follows the Stone family’s chaotic holiday celebrations, focusing on Everett Stone (Mulroney) and his attempt to propose to his girlfriend, Julie (Claire Danes), while introducing her to his eccentric family. Their clashing personalities lead to funny and unexpected complications during the festive season.
