
The first sequel to Taylor Sheridan’s hit show Yellowstone has achieved another record-breaking viewership number for CBS and Paramount after its debut in March 2026.
The Western drama Marshals, created by Taylor Sheridan, is projected to be the most popular broadcast television series of the current season. Recent Nielsen data shows that from September 14, 2025, to March 1, 2026 – which included the show’s premiere – Marshals attracted the largest audience of any broadcast series.
So far this season, Marshals has attracted 26.5 million viewers, making it the second most-watched show—streaming or broadcast—in our data. Only Stranger Things on Netflix has reached a larger audience, with 30.6 million viewers.
