Spike Chunsoft will hold Danganronpa Creative Contest with Steam keys of Danganronpa 2×2 as rewards

To celebrate 15 years of the Danganronpa series, Spike Chunsoft is partnering with Medibang to host a global online creative contest. The contest will be open to submissions from June 1st to August 31st.

So, there’s this cool contest going on with four different parts: you can submit your own art, color in some drawings they provide, show off your cosplay skills, or create something handmade. The prizes are pretty good – there’s money up for grabs, but the really exciting part for me is they’re giving away Steam keys for Danganronpa 2×2! I’ve been waiting for that game – it’s coming out worldwide in 2026, which feels like forever away. Good news is, it’s not just for PC either; they’re also releasing it on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch (both versions!), and Xbox Series X|S.

Spike Chunsoft is hosting an art contest on the ART street platform (by MediBang) to celebrate 15 years of the Danganronpa series, which began in November 2025. They also announced that a new game, Danganronpa 2×2, is currently in development.

You can submit your work in one of four categories: illustration, cosplay, crafts, or coloring. The contest runs from June 1st to August 31st, 2026 (Japan Standard Time). Prizes include a total of 200,000 yen (around $1,200) and exclusive contest souvenirs. For complete details, please check the official contest page on ART street.

Each category of the “Danganronpa Creative Contest” will have a “User Award” determined by how many likes entries receive. The entry with the most likes in each category will be highlighted. Even if you don’t submit your own work, you can still participate by voting for your favorites!

Okay, so for this contest, I’m thinking I can really show my love for Danganronpa! Basically, they want to see how much of a fan I am – whether that’s through art, cosplay, making something cool, or even just coloring. I can pull inspiration from any of the games in the series, which is awesome! I’m already brainstorming my favorite characters and scenes to bring to life.
