Adin Ross was surprised and excited when Drake mentioned him in his new song, “Make Them Pay,” from the album Iceman. The two even spoke on the phone about it.
Drake has been hinting at his new album, ‘Iceman’, for several weeks. He’s created a lot of buzz, including a surprising stunt in his hometown of Toronto: a block of ice containing the album’s release date, May 14th, and even orchestrated some explosive displays.
When the release date arrived, Drake surprised everyone by dropping not one, but three albums: Iceman, Maid of Honor, and HABIBTI. He also released the fourth episode of his Iceman series on YouTube at the same time.
Adin Ross was paying attention from the beginning and was shocked to hear his name in one of the new songs.
Adin Ross gets a shoutout from Drake on Iceman
The Kick streamer got a mention from Drake in his song ‘Make Them Pay,’ where Drake also seemed to criticize Rick Ross.
Man, I was helping Ross with his streams way back before anyone even knew who Adin Ross was! He almost fell out of his chair when I told him that, it was hilarious.
The streamer erupted with excitement, shouting, “I can’t believe it! I actually did it!” He was completely shocked, exclaiming, “Oh my gosh!” and repeatedly saying, “This is unbelievable.” He emphatically told his viewers he hadn’t realized what had happened, swearing it was the truth. He added that someone hadn’t informed him, and that the situation was completely unexpected and wild.

They are also facing a lawsuit against Stake, the company that owns Kick, because of their promotion of the gambling platform.
