I was so incredibly saddened to hear about Eric Dane’s passing. He was Dr. Sloan, McSteamy, on Grey’s Anatomy for so many seasons, and he was just fantastic! Shonda Rhimes shared a really touching tribute, saying Eric was a truly gifted actor and a beloved part of the Grey’s Anatomy family. He really left his mark on the show and on all of us who watched him. Shonda also posted a video of some of his best moments – it perfectly captured that playful, charming side everyone loved, but also showed how genuinely good he was as an actor. It’s just heartbreaking; he was McSteamy for a reason, and we’re all going to miss him so much.
Patrick Dempsey, known as ‘McDreamy’ from Grey’s Anatomy, recently revealed he’d been in touch with his former co-star, Dane DeHaan. He told Virgin Radio UK that DeHaan was unwell last week, struggling with speaking and swallowing, and confined to bed. Despite both being considered heartthrobs on the show, Dempsey said they never saw each other as competition. He fondly remembers their fun times together and celebrates the happiness DeHaan brought to viewers.
