So, Ripple’s big boss man, Brad Garlinghouse, took to the X (or whatever it’s called now-social media’s got commitment issues) to say that XRP ETFs just sprinted to a cool billion in assets. Yeah, faster than Ethereum’s junkyard dog. Looks like crypto’s got some pent-up demand-like a kid in a candy store, only the candy is digital and regulations are the security guards.
And guess what? Thanks to platforms like Vanguard-because who doesn’t love a good old retirement plan-millions of Americans can now dip their toes into the crypto kiddie pool. No more hiding under the bed, folks.
Garlinghouse, being the crystal ball visionary, predicts that crypto’s slice of the ETF pie is about to get a whole lot bigger, even though everyone’s whispering that this hype is just that-hype. But nah, he’s not buying it.
Current leaders (aka the XRP party animals)
Right now, around 477.93 million XRP is locked away in various U.S. crypto ETFs. Can you believe that? That’s a lot of digital tiny whales floating in ETF waters. Canary Capital’s got the biggest fish with 166.1 million XRP-like the kingpin of the crypto pond. Followed by Grayscale with 104 million, Bitwise with 91.8 million, Franklin Templeton’s got 63 million, and REX-Osprey tosses in 53 million-like a proper ETF squad.
Together, these five are holding the entire XRP stash. It’s like a digital version of “The Great XRP Hot Tub”. And at the moment, XRP ETFs are trading around $14.98 million daily-more than enough cash to buy a fancy coffee or two.
Top dog Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ is trading like hotcakes-$4.57 million worth (201.75K shares), with Canary’s XRPC not far behind at $4.17 million (187.95K). Bitwise XRP is doing a decent job with $3.40 million and 145.50K shares, while REX-Osprey XRPR is at $1.79 million, and Grayscale’s getting in with the leftovers. Because who doesn’t love a little ETF scrum?
