Even though Red Dead Redemption 2 was released back in 2018, it remains incredibly popular, especially with fans still waiting for GTA VI. While the single-player story is fantastic, many players have already completed it and now primarily enjoy the game through its online multiplayer modes.
I gotta say, even with everything else they’re working on, Rockstar has been really good about keeping up with those monthly rewards and bonuses. This month’s is almost over, but there’s still time to grab some free stuff if you hurry!
You can find complete details about the Trader Bonuses event in Red Dead Online on the official Rockstar website. While there’s lots to enjoy in the game generally, here’s what you really need to know:
- April 28 – May 4: Log in two days this week to receive the gray Shaffer Chaps
You only have until May 4th to log in and unlock the item. If you don’t log in by then, you’ll have just one day left to try before it’s no longer possible.
Beyond that, special bonuses are still active for Trader roles. You’ll earn 3x the RDO$, XP, and Role XP on all Trader Sales. Completing five Trader Sales will get you the Fortune Buckle. If you finish all your Trader Daily Challenges, you’ll receive the Tennessee Walker Camp Flag, and players who become Prominent Traders by reaching Rank 20 will unlock the Burdall Hat.
This month, you can earn triple the rewards – RDO$, Gold, and XP – in Call to Arms missions. Plus, successfully completing Wave 4 of any Call to Arms event will get you the Larkin Gloves. Don’t forget the Fishing Challenge Free Roam Event, which offers five times the RDO$ and XP, and you’ll also earn five times the RDO$ for every fish you sell to the Butcher.
This is your last chance to participate in the Hardcore Saint Denis Series before it ends along with the event on May 4th.
Red Dead Online is still offering fun adventures for fans of Westerns, which is great news since it seems unlikely we’ll get a new game in that series anytime soon. Hopefully, GTA VI lives up to the hype, otherwise we might be waiting a long time for another major Rockstar release.
