Popeyes, known for its fried chicken, is now offering its popular biscuits in grocery stores. They’re even introducing a new biscuit flavor for the launch.
Popeyes biscuits are a customer favorite, and to celebrate National Biscuit Day on May 29th, the restaurant is making them even more available with a big expansion.
Buttermilk Biscuits will be available in two delicious flavors: classic Homestyle and spicy Cajun Cheddar.
The only downside is that these come as mixes, not pre-made cookies, so you’ll have to bake them yourself.
Popeyes is selling its biscuits in stores as a mix
The biscuits are expected to cost between $3.23 and $3.49, varying by where you buy them. Each mix makes about 10 biscuits, and they take roughly 18 minutes to bake.
Popeyes is growing its presence in grocery stores. This new product release follows the successful launch of their 18-ounce bottles of Blackened Ranch, Sweet Heat, and Mardi Gras Mustard sauces, which became available last March.

Popeyes is now offering its popular biscuits in a new format for customers to enjoy at home, according to Chief Marketing Officer Matt Rubin. He stated that the biscuits have always been a favorite among Popeyes restaurant guests, and they’re excited to share that same flavor more widely.
We’re thrilled to be growing Popeyes into more grocery stores, and timing it with National Biscuit Day is perfect! It lets our fans enjoy the Popeyes flavor they love – that light, flaky, buttery taste – not just in our restaurants, but anywhere they go.
As a Popeyes fan, I was so excited to hear they’re celebrating National Biscuit Day on May 29th! If you’re a Popeyes Rewards member like me, you can snag a free biscuit with any order over $5 at most locations. It’s the perfect excuse to treat myself!

I was so excited when these biscuits finally hit shelves on May 26th! You can now find them at all the big stores like Walmart and Target, which is awesome!
Popeyes is now selling its biscuits in stores, joining other fast-food chains like Wendy’s, which began offering its popular square burgers for at-home cooking last year.
