Pokemon YouTuber accuses GameBoyLuke of cheating scandal with ex-girlfriend

Popular Pokémon video creator RaidAway has publicly accused GameBoyLuke, another YouTuber, of having an affair with his ex-girlfriend. RaidAway claims the incident occurred at his home on New Year’s Eve and that he only learned about it after the relationship ended months later.

RaidAway, also known as Rich, is a popular gaming creator on YouTube with over 1.4 million subscribers. He’s recently become well-known for his Pokemon challenge videos and working with other Pokemon YouTubers.

GameBoyLuke is a popular Pokémon content creator who often works with RaidAway. They’ve teamed up for many videos, including the “Choose Your Starter” series and various challenges, with their latest collaboration appearing on RaidAway’s channel just last week.

Just want to clarify, I’m talking about GameboyLuke.

RaidAway accuses GameBoyLuke after New Year’s allegation

On May 21st, RaidAway shared on X (formerly Twitter) that he recently learned his ex-girlfriend, Taylor, supposedly cheated on him with someone named Luke on New Year’s Day.

I just found out Taylor cheated on me with Luke on New Year’s. We broke up in January, and I’m only finding this out now, five months later. I need some time to process everything – it’s really shocking.

Since the first message just mentioned “Luke,” RaidAway added a clarification: “I meant GameboyLuke.”

I was scrolling through X and saw this post absolutely blow up – it got hundreds of replies and over 2,500 likes! People were really reacting to it, and the follow-up explanation spread like wildfire too. I also saw an older post from December 9th where GameBoyLuke replied to RaidAway, saying, “damn ur house looks sick!!! cant wait for new years!!” It was a fun little exchange to stumble upon.

RaidAway and Taylor announced their split in January, and fans generally accepted it as a personal matter. However, in a post on May 21st, RaidAway revealed he didn’t find out about alleged cheating until five months later – not from Taylor, but from another source.

The claim is noteworthy because RaidAway and GameBoyLuke frequently work together. They’ve continued to collaborate on Pokemon videos even after the reported New Year’s incident, with both appearing on each other’s channels recently.

I’m still waiting to hear something official! As of right now, neither GameBoyLuke nor Taylor have said anything publicly about what RaidAway claimed on X. It’s frustrating not knowing what’s going on, but hopefully they’ll address it soon.
