Pizza Hut is offering a unique job: a year of free pizza in exchange for, well, eating pizza! And the salary? It’s paid in pi – the mathematical constant, not the pie you eat!
Celebrated on March 14th (3/14), Pi Day is getting a tasty twist this year! Pizza Hut is offering one lucky winner the chance to enjoy pizza and actually get paid to do so.
Pizza Hut is hiring someone whose sole job is to be an expert on their crust! According to the company, you don’t need any business jargon – just a genuine love for Pizza Hut.
The salary is pretty good, especially since you get free pizza! It’s $31,415.92 – a fun number for math fans, as it represents the beginning of pi.
How to apply for Pizza Hut’s Crust Connoisseur job
Pizza Hut is looking for a ‘Hut Crust Connoisseur’ as part of a campaign to highlight their updated Hand-Tossed pizza. This is the first time the recipe has been changed in over ten years, and the new pizza features a Garlic-Parmesan flavored crust.
Pizza Hut is trying a new approach to hiring! Instead of sending in a traditional resume, applicants can now apply for a “Hut Crust Connoisseur” position by filming themselves enjoying Pizza Hut’s Hand Tossed pizza with the Garlic-Parm crust and sharing a review on Instagram with the hashtag #PizzaHut_Contest, while also mentioning the job title.

After submitting your review on the website, it will be judged based on four things: how creative and original it is (35%), how much passion and personality shines through (50%), your comfort and activity on social media (10%), and how practical your review is (5%).
Besides the prize money, the winner will also receive two $260 Pizza Hut gift cards, but they’ll only get them if they create a certain amount of video and other content as outlined in a separate agreement.
This new job posting follows Wendy’s recent announcement that they were looking for a “chief tasting officer,” a position that pays $100,000 a year.
Hidden Valley Ranch is sending fans on a trip across Europe! They’re calling these fans “Ranch-bassadors” and paying them to try ranch dressing with different European foods to see what tastes best.
