Kylie Jenner is exploring a new career path: comedy! After making a surprisingly strong impression in Charli XCX’s fake documentary, The Moment, she’s actively looking for more comedic roles. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Jenner revealed she’s received a few scripts but is waiting for the right project. She believes she has a knack for comedy and is eager to pursue it.
I was so excited to get cast in The Moment! It actually started as a bit of a joke – I mentioned to Aidan Zamiri, the director, that I’d love to be in the film. It felt like a really comfortable project to start with because I already knew Aidan and Charli, and I figured it would be a perfect fit for my first acting role. To my surprise, they actually wrote a part for me! I remember when they told me, I was like, ‘Wow, okay, now I really have to do it!’ It was a little nerve-wracking, but also amazing.
Jenner didn’t mention any directors she’s hoping to collaborate with on her next project, playfully suggesting she needs to think even bigger. She alluded to a phrase from Timothée Chalamet’s film, Marty Supreme, while making the comment. As she approaches her thirties, Jenner says she wants to prioritize herself, her businesses, her work, and spending quality time with her children, and she hinted at wanting to expand her family. She jokingly wondered if her future children would appreciate the opera.
