On paper, I Love Boosters sounds perfect for me: a fast-paced, visually striking film relying on practical effects. It follows the Velvet Gang, a group of resourceful young Black women who steal from designer Christie Smith (Demi Moore) to survive, selling the goods at lower prices. The story eventually blends into science fiction, highlighting the power of workers uniting against a harsh capitalist system. However, the film doesn’t quite live up to its potential. Despite its vibrant visuals, strong production design, and costumes, the script and dialogue feel heavy and awkward. It’s disappointing, because while the story is somewhat thin – lacking in character development and delivering familiar political messages – the film is undeniably exciting and visually stunning.

The new series, Beulah Jackson and the 10-Petals Ranch, draws comparisons to the popular show Yellowstone. Like the late John Dutton from Yellowstone, Beulah is a rancher who has run her family’s property for generations, facing ongoing struggles and violence. She also worries about whether her children are capable of carrying on her legacy at the 10-Petals Ranch.

The film centers on a man attempting to prove he invented the cryptocurrency Bitcoin, which puts him in conflict with these tech leaders and heads of state. AI technology is expected to be used to create these portrayals.
With the overall crypto market struggling, XRP is showing even weaker activity on its network. Analyst Ali Martinez has noticed a sharp decline in large XRP transactions, suggesting that major holders, often called ‘whales,’ are becoming less active.

As a long-time Destiny 2 player, I was pretty bummed to hear from Bungie on May 21st that the update coming June 9th, called the Monument of Triumph, will be the last major content release for the game. It basically means they’re wrapping up active development after years of supporting it since it first came out in 2017.
We summoned three digital oracles, those glittering idols of modern divination, to ask: will this token ever reclaim its perch above $2? Their answers, a symphony of bureaucratic poetry and algorithmic doubt.
