As a gamer, I’ve been learning about different cultures, and I recently found out about Eid al-Adha. It’s a really big deal for Muslims in Bangladesh – basically, it’s a festival celebrating sacrifice. Families come together, they pray, and traditionally, they sacrifice animals as part of the celebration. It’s all about community and faith, which is pretty cool to learn about.

I’ve been following the numbers at Toei Animation, and it’s pretty interesting to see how things are changing. For a long time, Dragon Ball was their biggest money-maker, but One Piece has now taken the lead. It’s a clear shift in what’s driving revenue for them. However, I think things could swing back if Dragon Ball Super makes a comeback before One Piece finishes its run.

Certain things in the Star Wars films have become instantly recognizable, like the opening text crawl with John Williams’ music, a character saying, “I have a bad feeling about this,” the Wilhelm scream sound effect, and Anthony Daniels appearing in a role. However, as the Star Wars story moves beyond the Skywalker family, some of these familiar elements are being left out or changed instead of consistently appearing in new films.

From 2001 to 2014, the action-thriller series 24 was a major force in television. While fans debate the best seasons, many consider season 5 to be a standout. It originally aired in 2006 and featured Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer returning from hiding to investigate the murders of important characters David Palmer and Michelle Dessler. Jack’s colleagues, Tony Almeida and Chloe O’Brian, were also targets of the same killer. Throughout the series, Jack often sacrificed his own well-being to protect others, and season 5 proved especially challenging for him.
